Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actress, voice-over performer and writer. In the nearly five years of her career, she amassed more than 100 credits. Pleshette is an New York native who began her acting career on stage. She then gradually made the transition to screen. Her most notable films include 'Rome Adventure,' 'The Birds', 'Fate the Hunter', If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium The Birds,' and Support Your Local Gunfighter. There was also a diverse variety of roles in TV and in television movies. The actress received the award for four Emmy Awards nominations and was also nominated twice for Golden Globe Awards. After being nominated two times, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for her film 'The Birds'. Pleshette died in 2008, and she was later presented with an honorary Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
