Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in a signature mix. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, the singer has done work across the globe. Sunshine Her real name was Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta the place she was raised is Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical path began at church where she sang and performed piano. She went to Spellman College in Atlanta where she started her journey into music on the Atlanta's R&B scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You which was a house 12-inch released exclusively in Japan; it was later remixed by numerous producers and is the mainstay of her live set. The singer has also provided her voice to The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She became the primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) offered her the position of director of the choral section of Dreamgirls in Atlanta in the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained attention throughout the four performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing at Barack Obama's 2009 Inauguration.
