Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known her real name as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was just seven, her family relocated to Mendocino County California. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious reader who spent all of her time studying books since she had no TV. Ryder aged 12 was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Ryder landed her first film role on the large screen in 1986 when she was 15 years young. Ryder suffered from bullying at her high school. She hoped that her career in acting would end that. However, it didn't come to pass. She continued to pursue her dreams. Her big break came in 1988 through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her roles in many movies. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her part on The Age of Innocence (1993).
